• Vac (2019-2023), building public good protocols for the decentralized web.
  • Founded and built up the organization as Director of Research.

  • Started as Clojure programmer, later on Head of Engineering.

• uSwitch (2015-2016), one of the biggest price-comparison websites in the UK.
  • Worked on the Mobile App and Customer Engagement team.
  • Wrote, contributed to and maintained 10+ microservices in Clojure for various tasks.
  • Personalized push notifications; reverse proxy in Go; saved $10k+/m on RDS bills.
• Vaulted Payments (2014-2015), startup that provided payment solutions for recurring payments.
  • REST API; Dashboard for merchants and customers in Clojure.
  • Backend services in Scala: REPL tools for easier maintenance; various microservices.
• Recurse Center (2012-2015), writer’s retreat for programmers.
  • Participant and later technical interviewer.
